Community Rules

By registering or publishing anything on Multator, you agree to follow these Rules. They form an integral part of the Terms of Service and apply to animations, frames, audio, covers, titles and descriptions, comments, chat and private messages, usernames, avatars and profile content.

1. Age

• You may use Multator independently from age 14. Younger children may use it only with a parent or other legal representative who creates the account and is responsible for all its activity.
• Users under 18 need parental consent for paid features. By paying, you confirm this consent and that the card owner knows you are using the funds. The procedure for legal representatives’ requests is described in the Spider Terms of Use.
• People of different ages view these works. Publish only material suitable for minors.

2. What you may publish

• Original animations, sketches and drawings created by you or with the rights holder’s explicit permission.
• Humorous, imaginative and artistically expressive works that comply with law and these Rules.
• Fan art and parodies, if you draw them yourself (or mark reference use; see Section 7) and do not present them as official.
• Reference drawings: you may draw from or trace someone else’s drawing, photo or frame if you mark this when publishing. See Section 7.
• Constructive comments and advice for other creators, especially in the Sandbox.
• Unfinished and practice works belong in the Sandbox, where they are not judged harshly.

3. What the law prohibits

The following are unconditionally prohibited. Such material is removed, the account may be suspended without warning and, where required by law, information is passed to authorized authorities.

• Any sexual material involving or depicting minors, or sexualizing children, including drawings.
• Pornography and sexually explicit materials, including drawings; depictions of genitals and sexual acts.
• Calls for extremist or terrorist activity, justification of terrorism, or display of symbols of extremist and terrorist organizations, including organizations and movements designated as such in the Russian Federation.
• Inciting hatred or hostility, or degrading individuals or groups based on sex, race, ethnicity, language, origin, religion or membership of a social group.
• Promotion, justification or advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors or analogues, or descriptions of how to produce or obtain them.
• Encouraging suicide or self-harm, describing methods, promoting dangerous activities such as train surfing or rooftop climbing, or other actions threatening children’s life or health.
• Promotion of non-traditional sexual relationships and preferences, pedophilia, gender reassignment, or refusal to have children, as defined by Russian Federation law.
• Insulting believers’ religious feelings, desecrating state symbols, rehabilitating Nazism or justifying crimes against peace and humanity’s security.
• Materials containing profanity, obscene insults or blatant disrespect for society or the state.
• Knowingly false information of public importance whose distribution is prohibited by law.
• Materials infringing exclusive rights, trademarks or a person’s image rights; passing off someone else’s work as your own.
• Other people’s personal data and images without consent: addresses, phone numbers, correspondence, photos, and school or workplace details.
• Instructions for making weapons or explosives, malware, or tools for bypassing restrictions on access to information.
• Advertising alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, gambling, betting, lotteries, pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick offers.

4. What the Community Rules prohibit

• Cruelty and violence, shock content, realistic depictions of dismemberment or abuse of people or animals, jump scares or material intended to frighten.
• Bullying, harassment, insults, threats, humiliation of other users or works targeting a particular person.
• Spam, flooding, mass identical comments or messages, or manipulation of likes, ratings, views, contest votes or followers, including through additional accounts.
• Fraud and deception: prize promises, spider giveaways, requests to transfer money or spiders, phishing links and attempts to obtain someone else’s password.
• Advertising external sites, services or goods, selling accounts or spiders for money, or inviting users to other communities without the Administration’s approval.
• Impersonating another person, a moderator or the Administration; misleading usernames and avatars.
• Publishing other people’s correspondence or material from private areas of the service.
• Automated data collection, load attacks and other attacks on the service, or exploitation of vulnerabilities and technical errors. Report any vulnerability you find to support@multator.org.

5. Chat and private messages

• Community chat and private messages follow the same rules as public sections.
• Do not send personal information to strangers, follow their links or meet them offline. Adults must not engage children in conversations of a personal or intimate nature. Such conduct results in account suspension and, where required by law, information is passed to authorized authorities.
• Private messages are not checked automatically but may be reviewed by staff when handling a report or at the request of authorized authorities.
• Privacy settings let you limit who can message you. Safety advice is available under Security.

6. Spiders, contests and paid features

• Spiders are internal service units. They cannot be sold, bought or exchanged outside Multator or used to pay for anything outside the service.
• Spider transfers are irreversible. The Administration does not return spiders voluntarily transferred to another user or investigate disputes about the reasons for transfers.
• Users run their own contests. Participation is free; winners are selected by community votes and/or the organizer, without random draws. Vote manipulation, collusion or creating accounts to vote disqualifies an entry from prizes.
• The Featured spot may only showcase your own work, not advertise goods, services or external resources.
• Spiders obtained through technical errors, hacking, manipulation or disputed payments are canceled, even if already spent or transferred.

7. Copyright

• Publish only what you have rights to. If you use someone else’s drawing, music or sound, obtain the creator’s permission.
• Borrowing a style or idea is allowed. Publishing someone else’s frames or works as your own is not, even with changes.
• Drawing from a reference is allowed, but must be marked. If you used someone else’s drawing, photo or frame — tracing it or copying its pose or composition — check Drawn from a reference when publishing or in animation settings, and include a source link if available.
• Unmarked reference drawings are treated as attempts to pass off someone else’s work as your own. The animation may be moved to the Sandbox or hidden from the catalog; repeated cases lead to publishing restrictions.
• If you hold rights to a work posted without permission, the notice procedure is described under For rights holders: material is removed within a day of receiving a properly submitted notice.
• Repeated copyright violations lead to account suspension.

8. How moderation works

There is no separate check before publication: works appear in the selected section immediately. Moderation takes place afterward, based on user reports, staff initiative and requests from authorized authorities.

Depending on the violation, measures include:

• moving a work to the Sandbox or hiding it from the catalog;
• deleting a comment, message or work;
• restrictions on individual features: comments, chat, private messages, ratings, publishing and paid features;
• temporary or permanent account suspension, including without warning and with deletion of all works.

The Administration chooses the measure. We are not obliged to warn you in advance, reveal who reported you, explain investigation details or restore deleted content. Suspension does not refund money spent or compensate a remaining spider balance.

The Rules apply to all accounts belonging to one person. A new account created to replace a suspended one will also be suspended.

9. Reports and appeals

• See a violation? Click Report below the animation or comment and briefly describe the issue. This is the fastest route.
• A report is a signal, not a demand. We review reports as resources allow and are not obliged to report back on the decision.
• False or mass reports intended to harm another user are themselves violations.
• If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact support@multator.org within 30 days. We will read your request and respond within a reasonable time. An appeal does not cancel or suspend a measure; the Administration decides whether to change it.

10. Changes to the Rules

The Rules are updated as the service develops and legislation changes. The current dated version is published here; significant changes are also announced within the service.
